Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Butler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.
A punch lands to the side of Butler 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Butler has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Butler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Butler is now in Johnson's guard.
Butler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Johnson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tycoon Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Butler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Butler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Butler's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Butler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Butler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Butler trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Butler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Butler shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Butler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Butler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Butler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing.

Butler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Butler takes a little break here. Johnson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Butler is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Butler tries to score with some ground and pound. Johnson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Butler works to advance to full mount. Johnson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Butler lands a couple of good shots and Johnson has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Johnson prevents Butler from getting a body triangle.
Butler trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Johnson doesn't escape.
Butler somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Butler tries to keep control of the position but Johnson is staying busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Butler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butler somewhat.
Butler takes a jab right on the kisser.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Butler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Johnson sends Butler crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johnson is motioning to the referee to let Butler up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Jake Butler has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Butler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Butler there as he acknowledges the shot.
Good exchange - Johnson coming out on top.

Butler is rocked!
Johnson drops Butler with a huge uppercut! Butler drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Johnson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
