The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva swings for the body but Koks moves out of range.
Koks appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Koks throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Koks swings widly with a right hand
and Silva counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva staying out of range there.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Koks throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Silva tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Koks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.
Koks takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rafal Koks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Koks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Koks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Koks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koks scores with a crisp jab that stopped Silva in his tracks.

It looks like Kron Silva has been cut.

Koks throws a quick counter head kick but Silva was just out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Koks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looked like Koks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Silva counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Koks throws a right and a left that both miss.
Koks wants to slow Silva down by chopping away at his legs.

Koks connects with a solid leg kick.
Koks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva.
Koks went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Koks misses the jab.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koks moves away.
Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva misses with an uppercut. Koks saw that one coming.

and Koks counters with a crisp one two that drops Silva! Koks thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Silva to his feet! Silva is in big trouble!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Koks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.

Silva unleashes a big counter combination but Koks bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Koks connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Koks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Koks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.
Koks throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Koks scores with a jab.
Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Koks.

Silva is rocked!
Koks throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Koks finish him?
Koks paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koks on the side of the head.
Koks has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koks there as he acknowledges the shot.

A big right from Silva misses.
and Koks counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Silva! He's just covering up as Koks starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
