Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal CummaS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hannibal CummaS!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan David!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CummaS wants to clinch.
David avoids the head kick by CummaS.
David jabs at CummaS's body.
David loads up on a big right hand but CummaS slips the punch.
CummaS throws a good cross that connects.
CummaS fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Juan David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
CummaS tries to close the distance and clinch but David swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
CummaS tries to clinch up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danga de danga de dang - David scores with a four punch combination!
An inside leg kick lands from CummaS.
CummaS darts in looking for a takedown but David gets double underhooks and turns CummaS into the cage.
David throws a hook but CummaS blocks it.
CummaS tries to close the distance and clinch up but David swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.
CummaS shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts David as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannibal CummaS. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from David as CummaS shoots in.
David blocks a head kick by CummaS.
A looping hook to the body misses from CummaS. David does a little dance to reset his feet.
David is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
David goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

David drops CummaS with a left and a right! Oh, CummaS is hurt - David dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Hannibal CummaS has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A lull in the action here.
Let's hope that David has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
David tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
David is staying tight to CummaS's torso, preventing him from escaping.
David wants to lay and pray for a moment but CummaS keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on CummaS's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

David wants to stand but CummaS is controlling his arm.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
CummaS tries to bench press David off him but David keeps the position.
David wants to stand but CummaS is controlling his arm.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
David blocks the strikes from CummaS.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
CummaS is looking to reverse the position.
David happy to just control the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A punch combination from CummaS misses.
David bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of CummaS's head.
CummaS tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. David manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
David connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
CummaS tries to clinch up.
David wants to counter the offense by CummaS and move into the clinch position.
David connects with a right hand. CummaS shakes it off.
David misses with a straight right.
David lunges at CummaS with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by CummaS's hand.
CummaS takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
David throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
David looks winded!
David works CummaS's body with a nice hook.
CummaS shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says David as he avoids it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
CummaS uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from David.
David throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
CummaS throws a sloppy head kick and David moves out of range easily.
CummaS tries to close the distance and clinch but David swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
David wants to counter with a clinch but CummaS pushes him away.
CummaS changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. David tries to avoid it but CummaS manages to keep hold of a leg and drag David to the ground. David escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
David is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
David throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck CummaS on the side of the head.
CummaS on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
CummaS shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
CummaS shoots for a takedown but David saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A combination from David does no damage.
CummaS misses with a takedown attempt

and David counters by clinching up.
A short left from David.
David misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juan David dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hannibal CummaS's cut.
That's time! CummaS's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


David scores with a jab to the jaw.
David smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
CummaS drops his hands momentarily and David takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
CummaS's hands are dropping dangerously low here and David connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! CummaS scrambles back to his feet.


CummaS is rocked!
David might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
David ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with CummaS's jaw. CummaS's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! David does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juan David!
Juan David decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
