The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peete tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gharibi defends well and Peete ends up having to push Gharibi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gharibi takes the fight into the clinch.
Gharibi pushes Peete back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Gharibi lands a body shot.
Gharibi scores with a shoulder strike.
Gharibi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Peete is breathing heavily.
A right hand to the body from Gharibi.
Nice body punch from Gharibi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gharibi lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Gharibi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gharibi connects with a combination that backs up Peete into the cage. Gharibi lands a flurry of punches that gets past Peete's guard. Peete is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Gharibi bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
