Ellison Jr comes to the cage accompanied by i aint never scared. Anthony Ellison Jr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai misses the jab.
Thai throws an off balance right hand
and Ellison Jr counters with a nice body kick.
Ellison Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ellison Jr closes the distance but Thai moves to the side
and Thai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ellison Jr throws a body kick that misses.
Ellison Jr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Thai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Thai misses the target.
Thai scores with a jab to the body.
Thai misses with a body shot.
Thai works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Ellison Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thai jabs Ellison Jr right on the nose. Ellison Jr blinks but takes it well.

Ellison Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thai was covering up waiting for the punch and Ellison Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Thai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ellison Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Thai throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ellison Jr escapes and throws Thai's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Thai looks to move to half guard but instead Ellison Jr has passed into mount! Damn!
Ellison Jr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thai's face.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ellison Jr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ellison Jr is landing with some decent strikes but Thai is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thai can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ellison Jr lands a big shot to the head and Thai winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
