Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nico Hassenkamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Asscrack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Asscrack told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asscrack misses the body punch
and Asscrack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Ben Asscrack has been cut.
Ben Asscrack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asscrack tries to clinch but Hassenkamp moves away
and Hassenkamp counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Asscrack has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Asscrack shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hassenkamp napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hassenkamp cracks Asscrack with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Asscrack looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hassenkamp finish him?

Asscrack is rocked!
Hassenkamp lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Asscrack up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Hassenkamp from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Asscrack's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
