Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shawn Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Colt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shawn Jones!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Colt slams his shin into Jones's torso.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Colt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at *****MY YARD***** in the buildup to the fight.
Both fighters circling a little - Colt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Colt as he avoids it easily.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Colt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joness jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Colt lands a right hook to the body.
Colt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones looks winded!
Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Colt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Colt lands with an overhand left.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Colt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Colt connects with a single shot there.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Colt scores with a leg kick.
Jones takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Colt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Colt connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Colt lands with a shot to the body.
Colt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Colt thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side.
Jones has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Colt lands a jab-cross combination.
Colt lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Colt. Colt obviously looking to wear him down.
Jones gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brian Colt!
Brian Colt bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
