Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Damozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sun God Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 5, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Damozzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, The Sun God Ra!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damozzi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ra tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Damozzi is in Ra's guard.
Damozzi trying to control but Ra is working from the bottom.
Damozzi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Damozzi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Damozzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Ra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Damozzi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ra is trying to keep Damozzi in close.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Damozzi throws a strike but Ra rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ra with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ra engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Damozzi is looking for a triangle but Ra pushes his legs off easily.
Ra missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ra won't allow Damozzi to get back to his feet.
Ra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ra throws an elbow that misses. Damozzi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ra's guard. Nice move by Damozzi!

Damozzi wants to control from the top but Ra keeps moving.
Ra bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Damozzi's guard.

Ra is looking to work some ground and pound but Damozzi has wrist control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ra lands a couple of digs.
Ra throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Damozzi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ra trying to control but Damozzi is working from the bottom.
Ra scoring with some ground and pound.
Damozzi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ra in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ra throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ra fails in his attempt to clinch.
Good standup being displayed there by Ra as he connects with a hook.
Ra lands a really nice looking cross but Damozzi seems unphased.
A jab from Ra does it's job there.
Damozzi moves out of range as Ra strikes.
Ra wants to clinch.
Ra feints a jab promting Damozzi to slip. Ra then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Damozzi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Damozzi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ra is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Damozzi is defending well for now.
A body shot lands from Damozzi.
Damozzi wants to break the clinch but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Sun God Ra dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ra stands up over Damozzi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Damozzi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ra to score with a decent uppercut.

Damozzi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ra is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Damozzi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Damozzi winds up and cracks Ra with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ra is controlling Damozzi's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Ra is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Damozzi scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ra tries to roll over but Damozzi keeps him under control.

A slow jab from Ra misses its intended target.
Damozzi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Damozzi dives in for a single leg takedown but Ra sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Damozzi manages to avoid it.
Damozzi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ra takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ra.
Ra misses with a left hand
and Damozzi counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ra throws an overhand right that lands on Damozzi's shoulder, as Damozzi tries to avoid the shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Damozzi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Damozzi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Frank Damozzi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ra enables Damozzi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ra manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Damozzi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Ra uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Damozzi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Damozzi takes the fight into the clinch.
Ra throws an elbow but it misses.
Damozzi has Ra pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ra manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Damozzi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Damozzi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ra after a bit of a struggle.

Ra takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ra thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ra looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Damozzi tries to roll over but Ra keeps him under control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ra is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Damozzi regains half guard.
Ra winds up and cracks Damozzi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Damozzi is pressing down on Ra's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ra tries to free his leg and advance position but Damozzi is retaining full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Sun God Ra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ra has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
