Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boris Zhivago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zhivago might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cold as Ice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zhivago using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ray has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ray has a couple of punches blocked by Zhivago.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ray misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Ray fails to land.
Zhivago swings wildly with an uppercut but Ray uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Zhivago takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Zhivago lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Ray head around and knocks him out cold! Zhivago hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
