Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Doss Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cobb might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Redman - Time 4 Sum Aksion. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cobb closes the distance and clinches.

Cobb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cobb throws out a loose jab but Doss Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.

Doss Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cobb on the side of the head.

Cobb creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Doss Jr with a big uppercut! Doss Jr tries to clinch up but Cobb pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Doss Jr to the mat! Doss Jr covers up and Cobb unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Tyson Cobb was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
