Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Reed Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Gain!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money fails in his attempt to clinch.
Money lands a really nice looking cross but Gain seems unphased.
Gain has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Money finds it's way round the side to connect with Gain's head.
Gain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Money definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gain forces Money back against the cage and clinches.
Money lands a right hand.
Money lands with a right to the head.
Money is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gain gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Money lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Gain tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Money misses with some punches.
Gain displaying some good clinch control by pressing Money up against the cage.
Gain stalling in the clinch but Money improves position.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Money is defending well against a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Money lands a body shot.
Gain pushes off an throws an elbow but Money leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Gain misses with a punch on the inside.
Money lands with a left to the head.
Money makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Money is working Gain over against the cage.
Money is pressed up against the cage. Gain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Money down to the mat. Money avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reed Money has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Gain.
Gain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gain showed some decent athleticism there.
Gain throwing shots but Money is blocking nicely.
Money knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gain on the ground.
Money won't allow Gain to pass to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gain prevents Money from improving his position.
Gain passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Money!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gain working for a submission but Money is keeping him at bay.
Gain mounts Money! Really nice guard pass there!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Money is looking to escape.

Money is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gain locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Money is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bruce Gain!
Bruce Gain spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
