PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dixie Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lik Alotadik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alotadik has chosen When Death comes Knocking - Primal Fear as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lik Alotadik was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 25 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lik Alotadik!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alotadik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Small lands a few punches from side control.
Small tries to advance to mount but Alotadik denies him.
Alotadik is trying to get back to his feet.
Alotadik tries to bench press Small off him but Small keeps the position.
Alotadik gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Alotadik tries to roll over but Small keeps him under control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Small connects with a nice short shot to Alotadik's temple.
Alotadik regains full guard. Nicely done.
Small looking to sit in guard and control but Alotadik gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Small bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alotadik's guard.

Alotadik is trying to keep Small in close.
Alotadik wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Small is now in half guard.
Small looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alotadik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Alotadik kicks Small off and gets back to his feet.
Small tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alotadik paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Small feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

In defeat, Lik Alotadik stepped up to the mic, saying 'You may have won this one, but fuck that, lets go again. In a cage, in the alley, I don't give a fuck. '.
