Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Cotchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Ajax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ajax has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Marco Ajax has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Trent Cotchin's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ajax connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cotchin momentarily.
Cotchin looks to score with a jab to the body but Ajax is just out of range.
Ajax on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

I was talking to Cotchin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ajax wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cotchin, who protects the arm well.
