The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price slaps away a takedown attempt from Du Preez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Du Preez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Du Preez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Price sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Du Preez dives in and grabs Price's left leg, looking for a takedown. Price pushes down on Du Preez's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Price manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Du Preez on his heels. He'll look to pass Du Preez's guard now, I'm sure.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Du Preez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Price manages to get himself to full guard.
