These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muller tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

It looks like Vasily Virastuk has been cut.
Muller lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Muller creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Virastuk's defenses.

That has opened up Vasily Virastuk's cut even more.
Muller's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Nicolas Muller has been cut.
Virastuk avoiding damage as Muller throws knees to the body.
Muller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Muller obliges.
Muller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Muller pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Virastuk takes an elbow to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Virastuk lands a nice knee to the body.
Virastuk takes an elbow to the forehead.

The cut above Vasily Virastuk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Vasily Virastuk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vasily Virastuk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Nicolas Muller decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
