The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dutroux. Dutroux circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Saunders fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dutroux manages to avoid it.
Dutroux waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Saunders .
Dutroux lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Saunders .
Saunders misses with a looping left.
Dutroux looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Saunders uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dutroux.
Dutroux takes a kick to the side of the head.
Saunders throws out a loose jab but Dutroux uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Saunders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Saunders moves into the clinch.
Saunders misses with a hook from the clinch.

Dutroux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dutroux throws a hook but Saunders avoids it easily.
Saunders looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Saunders counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Saunders stuns Dutroux with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Saunders is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dutroux.

enabling Saunders to counter with a crisp jab.
Dutroux stalks Saunders and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Saunders 's face. Saunders staggers backwards, shaken.
Saunders is looking to clinch but Dutroux is avoiding it.
Dutroux lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Saunders is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dutroux throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Saunders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saunders moves in looking to clinch but Dutroux pushes him off.
Dutroux misses with an uppercut.
Saunders feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dutroux's calf.
Saunders throws a jab but it's blocked by Dutroux.
Saunders walks straight into a right hand from Dutroux - that's dropped him! Dutroux jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Saunders from any more punishment! Saunders complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
