Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armitage Shanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shanks might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fraudulent Cloth - Vinnie Paz. Smith is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lonely Train by Black Stone Cherry. Aaron Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith throws an elbow but it misses.
Smith gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Armitage Shanks has been cut.
Smith creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Shanks's defenses.
Smith lands an elbow inside.

Armitage Shanks's cut is getting worse.
Smith prevents the takedown attempt.
Smith is pushing Shanks up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
