And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Danny Green!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Pentax manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Green on his heels. He'll look to pass Green's guard now, I'm sure.

Green has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pentax is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Green.

Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pentax. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pentax got a little sloppy there for a moment and Green has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pentax has managed to get both his arms back between Green's legs - danger averted.

Pentax drops back looking for a leg! Green is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Green manages to kick Pentax off! Pentax jumps back into Green's guard.

Pentax stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pentax definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Pentax thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Pentax tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pentax has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pentax is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pentax working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Pentax goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Green has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pentax but great work by Green.

Green is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pentax has escaped the position, nice work there.

Green is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Green might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pentax haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
