The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald is looking to clinch but Ichisake is avoiding it.
Mcdonald throws a leg kick which misses Ichisake's front leg but catches the back leg as Ichisake tries to avoid it.
Mcdonald wants to clinch up but Ichisake keeps it at a distance.

Ichisake closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcdonald did well to prevent Ichisake getting side control.

Mcdonald is looking to control Ichisake's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcdonald avoid being mounted?

Ichisake is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mcdonald with him. Mcdonald is trying to defend but Ichisake has an arm under the chin now! Mcdonald grimaces and is forced to tap out!
