Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andr De Fran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymun Redbeard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Fran might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No Worries. Raymun Redbeard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redbeard misses with a wild body shot.
Redbeard lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Redbeard scores with a jab to the jaw.
De Fran looks to land a combination. Redbeard sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
De Fran defending well as Redbeard loads up on a big left hand.
Redbeard's coach down at Winds of Winter was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Redbeard's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
De Fran lands a head kick. Redbeard smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Redbeard lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and De Fran counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Fran scores with a crisp jab that stopped Redbeard in his tracks.
Redbeard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Fran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Redbeard throws a sloppy body shot
and De Fran counters with a left and a right... And another left! Redbeard is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

After winning the bout, Andr De Fran thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
