The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll misses with a wild body shot.
Shoe with a jab.
Corll throws out a loose jab but Shoe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shoe thinks about countering with a body kick.
Corll moves out of range of the body kick from Shoe.
Corll takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shoe lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Corll, as that shot connected.
Shoe thuds a left hand into Corll's body.
Corll throws a leg kick but Shoe moved away.
Shoe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A jab lands there for Shoe.
Corll throws a looping overhand right but Shoe ducks down to avoid it.

We've been informed that Corll has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Dean Corll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shoe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corll manages to avoid it.

and Corll connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Corll takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Shoe. That's going to slow Corll down.
Shoe drops his hands momentarily and Corll takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shoe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Corll.
Shoe throws a wild body kick that Corll sees coming a mile off.

Corll sends Shoe crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Corll is motioning to the referee to let Shoe up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oh Shoe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corll misses with a straight right.
Shoe seems to have got his legs back now.

Shoe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Shoe does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Shoe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Corll.
Shoe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Corll takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Shoe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Corll. That did some damage!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice uppercut lands for Shoe. That snapped Corll's head back.

Corll misses with a few strikes there.
Shoe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corll paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dean Corll will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A lazy body kick from Shoe
and Corll counters with a left and a right... And another left! Shoe is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

An out of breath Dean Corll thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Gum Shoe stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will stick to you like glue until I find you and keel yew!'.
