Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Koh Ibu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki wants to clinch
and Ibu counters with a nice body shot.
Ki tries to clinch but Ibu moves out of range.
Ki fails with a takedown attempt.
Ki is looking to clinch but Ibu is avoiding it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ibu! But no joy.
Ki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ibu circles away.
Ibu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Ibu connects with a single shot there.
Ki closes the distance and clinches up with Ibu, looking for a takedown. Ki pushes Ibu against the ropes but Ibu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ao Ki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ibu misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Koh Ibu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ki shoots for a double leg takedown but Ibu sprawls well. He's pushed Ki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ibu digs a good hook to Ki's body.
Ki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ki darts in looking for a takedown but Ibu gets double underhooks and turns Ki into the ropes.
Ibu has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Ki closes the distance and clinches up with Ibu, looking for a takedown. Ki pushes Ibu against the ropes but Ibu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ibu feints a counter leg kick.
Ibu throws a good cross that connects.
Ki moves away from the strike by Ibu.
A big right from Ibu misses.
Ki drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ibu sprawls and moves away.
Ki takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A head kick misses from Ibu.
Ibu lands a jab to Ki's midsection.
Ibu scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ibu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ki's sensitive parts.
Ki slips a straight right by Ibu.
Good shot there by Ibu.

Ki is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good work by Ki as he checks the leg kick.
Oh Ki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice takedown defense from Ibu. No joy for Ki on that attempt.
Ki seems to have got his legs back now.
Ibu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Koh Ibu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ibu leaves Ki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ibu lands a big head kick that sends Ki tumbling to the mat! Ibu takes a step backwards and waves Ki back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ibu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ibu throws out a leg kick but Ki moves out of range and Ibu only half commits.
Ibu walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ki drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ibu swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ki's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
