Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos The Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Grimdal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reggie Grimdal is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Ghost changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grimdal looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The Ghost taking a breather here.
The Ghost has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Grimdal is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Ghost is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Grimdal's shoulder. That is not cool.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grimdal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Ghost pinned against the cage. The Ghost gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Ghost appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

The Ghost drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as The Ghost stalls from top position.

Grimdal prevents The Ghost from improving position.
The Ghost is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Grimdal will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Grimdal is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but The Ghost has just dragged him back down to the mat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Grimdal is letting The Ghost control him for a moment.
Grimdal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Ghost asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The Ghost doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Grimdal makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlos The Ghost will probably get the nod.

The Ghost drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Grimdal gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Carlos The Ghost's cut is getting worse.
The Ghost takes a knee right on the jaw!
Grimdal scores with a shoulder strike.
The Ghost has Grimdal pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Grimdal manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
