Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carney Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Duffy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Brawl - Bloody spit. Boom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Walk Forever kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom checks a low kick from Duffy.

Duffy fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boom checks it well.
Boom uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Duffy.
Orlando Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duffy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boom's hands.

Boom lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Boom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duffy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Boom has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Carney Duffy will probably get the nod.

Boom thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Duffy if he has to take too many more of those.
