The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mar throws out a powerful jab.
Mar tests Donkashane's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Donkashane tries to clinch there but Mar circles away.
Mar scores with a leg kick.
Mar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mar misses with a few strikes there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mar.
Mar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Donkashane counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mar!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Mar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mar is not content to let Donkashane control the position.
Donkashane is working to tighten his grip on Mar's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mar has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Donkashane is really squeezing tight and eventually Mar passes out! Donkashane breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
