Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Do Hoo Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Roshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Do Hoo Jung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Master Roshi!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roshi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Roshi wants it to stay on the feet.
It seemed like Roshi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jung throws a lazy head kick
and Roshi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jung thinking.
Jung shoots and misses
and Roshi counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jung gets a takedown into half guard.
Roshi wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jung content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roshi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Roshi tries to kick Jung off but Jung keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Roshi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jung passes to full mount!

Jung is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Roshi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jung controlling the pace for now.
Jung has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Roshi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jung.
Jung fails to move to back control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jung wants to finish this one by submission but Roshi is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jung.

Roshi squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Roshi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jung.
Jung content just to control the position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roshi wants to get back to his feet.

Jung wants to finish this one by submission but Roshi is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jung.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jung controlling from mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Roshi is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Roshi is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Jung has taken his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Do Hoo Jung dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jung dives in and scores a takedown into Roshi's guard.
Jung tries to free his leg and advance position but Roshi is retaining full guard.
Jung is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jung slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Roshi has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jung taking a breather here.

Jung is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Roshi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jung gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Roshi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jung lets go of the hold and Roshi can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Do Hoo Jung!
