Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevaughn Aldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Aldridge's choice of entrance music: Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Aldridge swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Steel.
Steel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Aldridge doesn't seem bothered though.

Steel is trying to trip Aldridge. He has hold of a leg but Aldridge is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Steel persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Aldridge has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Steel holds on and takes a little breather.

Steel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aldridge.

Steel swats away the attempt to clinch by Aldridge.
Aldridge throws a push kick but Steel slaps the foot to one side.
Aldridge misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Steel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Aldridge did well to prevent Steel getting side control.

Aldridge looking to break Steel's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Steel remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Aldridge will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Aldridge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kevaughn Aldridge comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Aldridge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
