Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Naoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Takeshi Naoki enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Takeshi Naoki!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naoki lands with an uppercut that bounces Strange off the cage and back into range.
Naoki looks to land a left hand but Strange moved out of range nicely.
Strange appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Strange closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Naoki is looking for a sweep.
Naoki wants to get back to his feet but Strange drags him back down.
Strange tries to advance to mount but can't.
Strange working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Naoki tries to bench press Strange off him but Strange keeps the position.

Naoki wants to control but Strange is having none of it.

Strange lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Naoki is squirming around, avoiding Strange's attempts to control the action.
Naoki tries to control Strange's body but Strange pushes him off. Naoki squirms to his side and now Strange has his back!
Naoki is keeping busy.
Strange connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Naoki to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Strange looking to break Naoki's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Naoki remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Strange will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Strange seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Strange throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Naoki!

Strange goes for an armbar but Naoki turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Naoki.
Naoki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Strange controls Naoki momentarily but Naoki frees himself.
Strange is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Naoki is aware though and is defending well.
Strange escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Naoki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Strange is really struggling to control Naoki but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Strange is looking for a triangle but Naoki pushes his legs off easily.
Naoki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Strange looks to throw the jab but Naoki is out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Strange missing with knees to the body.
Strange drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Naoki lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Naoki is pressed up against the cage. Strange has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Naoki down to the mat. Naoki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Strange avoids the head kick by Naoki.
Strange feinted with a counter takedown.
Strange takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Naoki lands a nice looking body shot.
Strange goes for a double leg but Naoki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Naoki continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Strange. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Naoki stuns Strange with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Strange on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Strange walks forward, straight into a front kick from Naoki.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Naoki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Strange's head.

Strange walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Naoki lands a nice looking body kick.
Simon Strange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Naoki drops Strange with a straight right hand, right on the button! Naoki follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takeshi Naoki!
Takeshi Naoki opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Simon Strange spoke after the fight, saying 'FFS, can't seem to catch a break at the moment.'.
