Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Star Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Hermano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dust might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Hermano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deadhead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Dust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pelle Hermano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dust throws an off balance right hand

and Hermano counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Dust looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hermano sitting in guard here, content to control.
Dust looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hermano puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Hermano not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hermano is stalling here. Dust is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hermano seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dust has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dust lands a big shot there that rocks Hermano but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dust is trying to stick to Hermano's back but Hermano is turning into Dust. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dust's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hermano.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dust is on top in guard.

Dust lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dust trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hermano tries to lock up and control but Dust gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dust throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dust is pressing down on Hermano's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hermano is holding on for now.

Dust thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hermano's head.
Dust wants to pass to mount but Hermano is defending the position.
Hermano is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dust's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dust's back!

Well Dust has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Star Dust rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
