Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bjarni Agnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spank Crank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Agnarsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Pearl. Bjarni Agnarsson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Spank Crank's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crank connects with a good right hand that stumbles Agnarsson. Agnarsson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Agnarsson lands an overhand right.
Agnarsson misses with a hook to the body
and Crank counters with a stiff right hand.
Crank misses with a lunging right hand
and Agnarsson counters with a left to the body.
Crank tries to clinch there but Agnarsson circles away.
Agnarsson tried to counter with a leg kick but Crank avoided it.

I was talking to Agnarsson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Crank tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Agnarsson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Crank wants the takedown. Agnarsson is fighting it off but Crank persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Agnarsson's guard against the cage.

Crank will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A little feinted left hand from Agnarsson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Crank throws a strike aimed at the side of Agnarsson's head but Agnarsson avoids it well.

Crank is trying to control the action in half guard but Agnarsson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crank is taking a breather. Agnarsson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Crank thows a huge punch but Agnarsson dodges it nicely.

The crowd cheers as Crank lands an impressive looking overhand right. Agnarsson doesn't seem phased though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Agnarsson is really struggling to control Crank but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Crank trying to keep a closed guard but Agnarsson is proving a slippery customer.
Crank wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Agnarsson is now in half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bjarni Agnarsson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Spank Crank's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Crank connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Agnarsson throws a hook to the side of Crank's head but Crank sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Crank tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Crank slips under a jab from Agnarsson.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Crank fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Agnarsson manages to avoid it.
Agnarsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crank.

Spank Crank comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Crank has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
