And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lacson closes the distance and clinches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lacson.
Lacson is leaning against Medrano and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Medrano takes a shot to the head.
Medrano is trying to maintain a safe position but Lacson gets an underhook and turns Medrano into the cage.
Lacson prevents Medrano from breaking the clinch.
Medrano tries to break free but Lacson pushes him back against the cage.
Lacson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Medrano looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lacson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Lacson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Medrano backwards.

Medrano looking to stall.
Medrano throws a knee to the head but misses.
Medrano is looking to control Lacson's arms but Lacson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Medrano has his back to the cage.
Lacson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lacson pushes Medrano back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lacson lands a hook to the side of the head.

Medrano is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lacson digs a right hand into Medrano's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Medrano's gas tank.
Medrano is trying to pull guard but Lacson has him pressed against the cage.
Medrano is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lacson lands a nice uppercut.
Oh Medrano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lacson digs a right hand underneath Medrano's ribcage. Medrano let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Medrano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A nice left hand lands by Lacson.
Lacson pushes Medrano against the cage. Lacson is working some dirty boxing. Lacson pushes off with a quick right hook! Medrano goes down! Medrano tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Lacson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Panfilo Lacson!
After winning the bout, Panfilo Lacson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
