Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Usain Bold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Priest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest fails in his attempt to clinch.

Bold drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bold decides to stand back up.
Priest swats away the attempt to clinch by Bold.
A punch combination from Bold misses.
Priest wants to counter the offense by Bold and move into the clinch position.
Priest shoots for a takedown but Bold saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Good work by Priest as he checks the leg kick.

Bold manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Priest fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bold to the ground. Priest is now in Bold's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bold manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Priest has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bold clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bold wants to control his opponent's hands but Priest gets his hands free.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Priest is hanging on to Bold's back as he tries to escape.

Priest is persistently looking for the submission but Bold is defending it well.

I really don't envy Bold right now.
Priest doesn't have the hooks in and Bold manages to turn into his guard.
Bold postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bold is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bold not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bold stands up from Priest's guard - Bold perhaps looking for a knockout.

Bold shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bold was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bold is looking to take a break and control but Priest is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bold lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Priest down.

Bold tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bold has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Priest prevents Bold from moving into mount.
Bold creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Priest works to advance to full mount. Bold defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Priest lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bold wants to control but Priest is having none of it.
Priest takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Usain Bold will probably get the nod.

Bold has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Priest is on him like a limpet, forcing Bold back against the cage.

Bold's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
