Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Feltre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kang Xi Jia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feltre comes to the cage accompanied by Someday Never Comes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xi Jia misses with a few strikes there.
Xi Jia throws a series of strikes that have Feltre backpedaling.

Feltre throws a leg kick but Xi Jia sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Xi Jia has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Feltre gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Feltre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Xi Jia raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Feltre fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Xi Jia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Feltre throws a front kick aimed at Xi Jia's knee but Xi Jia avoids it well.

Feltre throws a low kick but it's checked well by Xi Jia.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Feltre lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Xi Jia has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Xi Jia and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kang Xi Jia dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Xi Jia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Felipe Feltre will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xi Jia connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Feltre! He's out on his feet! Xi Jia rushes in and drops Feltre with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
