Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Pico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by start from scratch. Tom Rivers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Pico!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pico ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pico tries to counter with a clinch but Rivers shakes him off and moves away.
Rivers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rivers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rivers misses with a wild body shot.
Pico with the counter takedown but Rivers avoids it easily.
Rivers looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pico tries to close the distance and clinch but Rivers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pico keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pico let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Rivers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rivers looks to throw the jab but Pico is out of range.
Pico ducks right into an uppercut from Rivers.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rivers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pico is rocked!
Rivers is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Pico flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Pico is out cold! Rivers holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Rivers!
In his post fight interview, Tom Rivers started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
