Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramses Xll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Sigfridsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xll kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scarab - Ankh. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigfridsson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Xll slips under a jab from Sigfridsson.
Xll is looking to counter punch.
Xll throws a poor cross that misses
and Sigfridsson counters with a straight right hand.
Xll dodges the punch combination from Sigfridsson.
Sigfridsson moves in looking to clinch but Xll pushes him off.
Xll scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Xll takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sigfridsson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Xll's calf.
Xll has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sigfridsson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some bone on bone action there as Xll checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Sigfridsson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sigfridsson is trying to maintain a safe position but Xll gets an underhook and turns Sigfridsson into the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Xll jumps guard but Sigfridsson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sigfridsson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Sigfridsson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Xll fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sigfridsson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
