The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McDickerson scores with a jab.

It looks like jj Smalls has been cut.
McDickerson looks to land a left hand but Smalls moved out of range nicely.
McDickerson misses with a hook.
Smalls takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A jab from McDickerson finds it's way through Smalls's defenses.

McDickerson sends Smalls crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McDickerson is motioning to the referee to let Smalls up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
