Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rip Snorten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Branco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Snorten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Learn to fly. Branco has chosen Stranglehold as his entrance music. Rip Snorten had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

We've been hearing reports that Snorten has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Branco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Snorten has time to react.

Snorten has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Branco is trying to keep an underhook but Snorten manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Snorten looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Branco with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Branco is looking for a sweep. Snorten is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Branco is pressing down on Snorten's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Snorten is looking to pass into half guard but Branco pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Branco is in guard.

Snorten tries to improve his position but Branco has taken his back! Branco has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Snorten tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Branco pushes Snorten away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
