Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adolfo Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Supertuk Halaptung!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halaptung forces Austin back against the cage and clinches.
Halaptung is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Austin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Halaptung jumps into guard, dragging Austin to the mat.
Halaptung wants to control but Austin passes easily into half guard.
Halaptung is trying to get back to full guard.
Austin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Halaptung wants to improve his position but Austin is controlling well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Austin is nestled in close to Halaptung, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Austin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Halaptung sees it coming and defends easily.
Halaptung wants to stand back up but Austin manages to pass into side control.

Austin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Austin is trying to get an arm triangle but Halaptung is defending well.
Halaptung is trying to get back to half guard.

Austin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Halaptung knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Halaptung really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Austin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Austin tries for a kimura but Halaptung is defending well.
Halaptung is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Austin asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Austin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Halaptung manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Supertuk Halaptung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Austin has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Austin is looking to control Halaptung's arms but Halaptung gets an underhook and turns him. Now Austin has his back to the cage.

Supertuk Halaptung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Supertuk Halaptung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Halaptung has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
