The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan swats away the attempt to clinch by Wade.
Hogan is looking to counter the offense by Wade and move into the clinch.
Hogan throws a looping overhand right but Wade ducks down to avoid it.
Wade looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hogan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hogan tests Wade's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wade works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hogan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wade was well out of range. Poor timing from Hogan.
Wade doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hogan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wade digs a right hand underneath Hogan's ribcage. Hogan let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Wade working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Hogan tries to break free but Wade pushes him back against the ropes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Wade creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hogan is rocked!
Wade prevents Hogan from breaking the clinch.
Oh Hogan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wade lands with a right to the head.
Wade cracks Hogan with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Hogan goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Hogan wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
