Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Big Bad John kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Thomas!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Thomas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McGettigan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Thomas shoots and misses
and McGettigan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Thomas misses with a series of wild punches.
McGettigan throwing a counter right hand but Thomas manages to avoid it.
Thomas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Thomas is rocked!
Thomas swings widly with a right hand
and McGettigan rattles Thomas with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Thomas tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. McGettigan dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Thomas stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tom McGettigan!
