Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Brian Pereira!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pereira connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Magn looks to score with a jab to the body but Pereira is just out of range.
Magn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pereira paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pereira takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Magn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pereira on the side of the head.
Magn throws a body punch but Pereira moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Magn. Pereira does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pereira throws out a counter right but Magn avoids it with no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pereira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Magn can pounce on him.

Magn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pereira, as that shot connected.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Magn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
