The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett blocks a head kick by Fisher.
John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fisher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Barnett is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Barnett moves into full guard.

Barnett isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fisher stacks Barnett on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fisher!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fisher wants to control for a moment but Barnett uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
