Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruban Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blue clear sky. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shit Face!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruban Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov misses with an uppercut

and Face counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kozlov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Face slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Face tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Face has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Face trying to control the action but Kozlov is working from the bottom.
Kozlov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Face off and has taken his back!

Face is trying to remain composed but Kozlov is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Kozlov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Face doesn't escape.

Face trying to control the hands but Kozlov breaks the grip.
Face is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kozlov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I've been told that Kozlov has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Face keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Face sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Face is looking to control Kozlov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Face avoid being mounted?
Face slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Face looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kozlov is one step ahead there.
Face is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Face is looking for a triangle but Kozlov pushes his legs off easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kozlov.
Kozlov throws a head punch that misses.

Face wants the takedown. Kozlov is fighting it off but Face persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kozlov's guard against the cage.

Face stays in close to Kozlov's body and controls the position.

Kozlov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kozlov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kozlov is on top in guard.

Ruban Kozlov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Face walks into a left hand.
Kozlov cracks Face with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kozlov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Face tries to counter with a takedown but Kozlov is quick to defend against it.
Face moves away from the strike by Kozlov.
Face shoots in but no luck this time.
A little jabbing left from Kozlov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Face uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kozlov.

Kozlov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kozlov throws a hook to the side of Face's head but Face sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Face changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Face shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kozlov as he jumps to the side.
Face has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shit Face. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kozlov misses with a looping right.
Kozlov misses with an uppercut. Face saw that one coming.
Face uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kozlov.
Face fails with a takedown attempt.
Face goes for a double leg but Kozlov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kozlov continues to drive forward.

Kozlov avoids the body shot from Face.
Kozlov throws a nice looking combination but Face bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kozlov misses with a straight left.
Kozlov scores with a punch to the head.
Face takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Face looking to score a takedown here. Kozlov is defending well but Face drives through and ends up in Kozlov's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Face drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kozlov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Face has Kozlov in his guard.

Ruban Kozlov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kozlov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
