Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lahiru Samarakoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Daebak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samarakoon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Daebak.
Daebak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Samarakoon.

We've been informed that Daebak has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Daebak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Samarakoon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Samarakoon wanted to stand there but Daebak had control of the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Daebak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Samarakoon defends it easily.

Daebak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Samarakoon is aware though and is defending well.
Samarakoon wants to stand but Daebak has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Daebak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Samarakoon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Samarakoon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Samarakoon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daebak is proving hard to escape from.
Samarakoon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Daebak has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Samarakoon is looking to defend but Daebak has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Samarakoon! Daebak pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Samarakoon taps out and this one is all over!
