Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd throws a nice looking combination but Familia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ladd lands with an overhand left.

Familia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ladd as he avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Familia drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Familia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ladd tries to avoid it but Familia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ladd to the ground. Ladd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ladd gets caught napping as Familia dives in and scores a takedown. Ladd manages to retain guard.

Ladd is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Familia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Familia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ladd is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Familia, into his guard.

Ladd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Familia's guard.
Familia is staying active underneath Ladd, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ladd throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Familia colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Ladd as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Familia is left battered and dazed whilst Ladd and his camp cheer!
