The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay digs a good hook to Shankariya's body.

Shankariya throws a right hand that Clay ducks under and follows up with a left that Clay also avoids with ease.

Clay is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shankariya.

Clay throws a good cross that connects.

Clay lands with an uppercut that bounces Shankariya off the cage and back into range.
Clay thuds a left hand into Shankariya's body.
Clay steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shankariya.
Clay feints and then cracks Shankariya's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shankariya down.
Clay jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Clay misses with an uppercut. Shankariya saw that one coming.
Clay lands a slapping body shot.
Shankariya might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A telegraphed right hand from Clay misses the target.
Despite the aggression on Shankariya's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Clay lands a left and a right that send Shankariya crashing to the mat, dazed. Clay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Shankariya is rocked!

It looks like Kampatimar Shankariya has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Are you kidding me?! Clay ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Shankariya clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
