Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Nassar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It seemed like Nassar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rodney Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nassar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nassar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards.

George Nassar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nassar drops Smith with a huge uppercut! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Nassar is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

George Nassar spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
