Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch McBane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butch McBane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Easton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch McBane!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easton checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Easton tries for a takedown but McBane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McBane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Easton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A slow jab from McBane misses its intended target.
McBane throws a body shot but no joy.
Butch McBane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Easton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McBane sprawls well. McBane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Easton gets slowly back to his feet.
McBane tries to land a front kick but Easton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McBane lands with a kick to the temple. Easton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Easton dives in for a single leg takedown but McBane sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

McBane felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McBane looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
McBane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Easton manages to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Easton will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
