Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ras Li Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guido Gloom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Judah comes into the arena with Limb By Limb blaring out of the sound system. Guido Gloom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gloom misses with a jab to the body

and Judah counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Judah misses with a body punch.
Gloom has a couple of punches blocked by Judah.
Gloom blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Judah goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Judah works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Gloom gets control of Judah's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gloom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Judah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gloom wants to free his trapped foot but Judah is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Judah is looking for a sweep. Gloom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Judah is pressing down on Gloom's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Judah working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gloom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gloom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Judah connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Judah tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gloom's elbow.
Gloom tries to pull guard but Judah forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Gloom tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gloom breaks from the clinch.
Judah fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gloom has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gloom throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Judah takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice defenses there by Judah.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Judah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gloom looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Guido Gloom will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Judah throws a big shot that misses.
Gloom checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Judah looks to score with a jab to the body but Gloom is just out of range.
Gloom catches Judah with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gloom throws a head kick but Judah moves out of range.
Gloom takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Judah slips a straight right by Gloom.
Judah uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gloom.

Gloom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Judah manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gloom has Judah in his guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Judah's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Judah lands a couple of digs.
Judah stands up over Gloom, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Gloom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Judah gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Judah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gloom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Judah has managed to get both his arms back between Gloom's legs - danger averted.

Judah slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Judah is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Gloom is trying to control the position but Judah postures up.

Judah is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gloom.
Guido Gloom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gloom moves forwards but Judah connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Gloom slips a straight right by Judah.
Gloom throws a right and a left that both miss.
Judah scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Judah drops Gloom with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gloom looks back up at him and smiles so Judah waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gloom is rocked!

It looks like Guido Gloom has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gloom throws a head kick but Judah moves out of range.
As Gloom tries to get set, Judah tries to push him back and clinch up but Gloom manages to avoid the attempt.
Gloom lands the left hand.
Judah pounces like a tiger and cracks Gloom with a vicious hook! Gloom is down but not out! Judah follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ras Li Judah decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
