PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Howard Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stern comes to the cage accompanied by The Great American Nightmare. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Harrison Yates!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yates tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stern manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yates looks to land a left hand but Stern moved out of range nicely.
Stern will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Yates dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stern. That did some damage!

Harrison Yates comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Yates has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
